Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and SoulShot when you use the app. They are short on purpose; please read them.

1. What SoulShot is

SoulShot makes you a personalized spoken audio clip of about a minute, a “shot”, each day, in one of three lanes: prayer, motivation or manifestation. It is written and voiced by AI from what you tell the app, in the thread with Sol and in your setup answers. The app also gives you short written cards, a streak, notifications at the moments you choose, and a home-screen widget.

2. Your account

You must be at least 17 years old.
Sign-in is by email, Google or Apple, through Clerk. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens under your account is yours.
You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Profile at any time.

3. Subscription

SoulShot is a paid app with one plan: SoulShot Weekly, billed weekly through your Apple ID. There is no free tier. If a free trial is offered, its length and the price after it are shown before you subscribe, and Apple decides whether you are eligible.

The subscription renews automatically each week until you cancel. You are charged at the start of each period.
Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends to avoid the next charge: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling keeps your access until the period ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; we cannot issue them ourselves.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel first.
Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.

4. What you tell the app

What you write and say to Sol is yours. You give us permission to use it for one purpose: to make the app work for you, to write your shots and cards, and to let Sol remember what you have told it. How it is handled is in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you enter. Do not enter anything you do not have the right to share, or anything meant to harm someone.

5. Your shots

The shots and cards made for you are for your personal use. You may share a shot using the app’s share feature; anyone with the link can listen to it. You may not sell shots, present them as made by a person, or use them in a product of your own.

6. What a shot is not

SoulShot is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a therapist, a counsellor, or a religious leader.

A prayer shot is written in your own voice, addressed to God as you understand God. It never speaks as God and never claims to know God’s will.
A manifestation shot is a picture of where you want to go. It does not promise outcomes, cures, money or dates.
A motivation shot is encouragement. It is not a plan, a diagnosis or a guarantee.

Shots are generated by AI and can be wrong, generic, or miss the point. If one lands badly, tell us; we would rather know.

7. If you are in crisis

SoulShot is not an emergency service and is not monitored by people in real time. If what you write suggests you may be in danger, the app shows support resources instead of a reply. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now.

8. What you may not do

Use the app to break the law or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
Try to get around the subscription, the safety checks or the daily limits.
Reverse engineer the app, scrape it, or extract the prompts and models behind it.
Use automated tools to generate shots at volume.
Let someone under 17 use your account.

9. Availability and limits

Shots are made by third-party AI services and stored in the cloud. Sometimes a shot is late, a voice is unavailable, or the service is down; we work to keep this rare but do not promise the app will always be available. There is a limit on how many shots you can ask for in a day, so that one account cannot exhaust the service for everyone.

10. Our content

The app, its design, its name, the voices, the music beds and the way shots are written belong to SoulShot or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; nothing else.

11. Ending things

You can stop any time by cancelling and deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach, we will say why.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, SoulShot is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make because of a shot. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you as a consumer.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. When a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the change.
